Polk Street Jazz: One Night Only

For KACV’s newest local production, “Polk Street Jazz: One Night Only”, we went downtown and turned an empty loft into a hip jazz club. On December 20, 2009, the KACV production team recorded this stellar group of musicians  as   they soared through a set of songs that range from New Orleans roots tunes to original compositions written by Jim Gardner. 
Polk Street Jazz: One Night Only premiered March 1^st on KACV-TV.  It’s a full hour, jam packed with music and interviews with the band, but we couldn’t fit everything in the show so here are a few interview clips and song samples that you won’t see on the broadcast.
